Hey, I’m Miki. Dogs have been a constant in my life, especially the working ones—the kind that show up, get the job done, and leave it all on the field. Before diving into this blog, I spent time in search and rescue, working alongside some truly incredible dogs. That experience showed me what dogs are truly capable of, and how much heart they put into their work.

These days, I’m with my Springer Spaniel, Boone, as we dive into nose work, tracking, and all the challenges that come with training a working dog. This blog is where I share our journey—the struggles, the successes, and everything in between. If you’re into dogs, especially the ones that work hard, you’re in the right place.

I started this blog because I wanted to create a space to talk about what really goes into working with dogs. Training, building trust, and just living alongside these amazing animals.
